Will SSC Exam 2024 be held?
As per a circular issued on Thursday (Dec 21) by Professor Abul Basha, Convener of the Examination Controller Committee at the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations will commence on February 15, 2024. The examinations will begin at 10:00 am and conclude at 1:00 pm.

Special Instructions:
- Candidates must take their seats in the examination room at least 30 minutes before the start of the examination.
- The examination must be taken according to the time mentioned in the question paper.
- The multiple-choice examination will be held first and then the creative/essay (theoretical) examination, and there will be no break between the two examinations.
- Candidates will collect their admission cards from their respective institution heads at least three days before the start of the examination.
- Education institutions will provide the marks obtained through continuous assessment in the subjects of physical education, health science and sports, and career education as per the guidelines of NCTB to the concerned center. The concerned center will send the marks obtained through continuous assessment along with the marks of the practical examination to the board’s website online.
- Candidates will fill in the OMR form of their respective answer sheets with their examination roll number, registration number, subject code, etc. properly. Under no circumstances should the answer sheet be folded.
- The candidate must pass separately in the creative/essay (theoretical), multiple-choice, and practical sections.
- Each candidate will be able to participate in the examination only of the subjects/subjects mentioned in the registration form. Under no circumstances will be able to participate in the examination in a different subject.
- The examination of any candidate (creative/essay (theoretical), multiple-choice and practical) will not be held in his/her own school/institution. The candidate must be seated through relocation.
- Candidates will be able to use a general scientific calculator in the examination.
- No other person/candidate other than the center secretary will be allowed to bring and use a mobile phone in the examination center.
- The same attendance card must be used for the attendance of the candidate in the creative/essay (theoretical), multiple-choice, and practical examinations.
- Practical examinations will be held in their respective centers/venues.
- Within 07 (seven) days of the publication of the examination results, an application for re-examination can be made online through SMS.
